We did some research on the Crescent primary school by looking at their website. We found out about their philosophy, what the outside of the school looks like and some information about year 3 and year 4 which are the years we are likely going to be working with. Below are notes Tyreis made after we did research about the Crescent Primary School using their website.

Year 3 and Year 4 Teachers 

This page goes into some detail about workshop ideas, and also about the possibility of doing icebreakers with the crescent students so that they are more familiar with us when we start doing workshops and activities. However we weren't all convinced with the idea as the icebreakers could become a bit tedious and unnecessarily extend the session time, so we probably won't do these. Some activities written above that could be done are trust exercises and games such as sleeping lion. 

We split off into little groups to do various task so we would have a clearer idea of how to move forward. Tyreis and Jasmine  emailed one of the teachers to start arranging a meeting and making plans, Me, Millie and Maya K were setting up the community and looking for the contact details of the teachers in the school. Shahla researched the school itself and the book names that each tutor group had as their name and Jennifer, Grace, Blaise, Louisa and Amber were brainstorming initial ideas for workshops and the project in general.
