For the first day of the community project, we received the brief and got into different groups. Our group has 12 people in total and we were assigned The Crescent Primary School as a community partner. We started to brainstorm ideas for activities to do with the children at the school, as well as outline some important things like the age range of the children and group roles. The group roles were : Group leaders: Jasmine, Tyreis Technicians: Jennifer, Louisa, Shahla Photographers: Blaise, Grace, Maya B Communication: Sarah,Maya, Millie, Amber and together we created a Google community for the group to share things together, researched the different teachers and aspects of the school and created a personal chat for all the members of the group to update each other in.

After our first meeting assigning our roles and planning ideas, we brainstormed ideas for workshops and then used this to present these ideas to our classmates in art. We went over our individual roles and what we may have to do and plans for the future in a small presentation. It went well and having the brainstorm as a prompt helped to make the presentation more structured, however we could've had a few more brainstorms to talk about to be able to develop more solid ideas.
